Gallipoli Guides Hub
How to fight, survive, and win on the Ottoman Front — from first landing to full crossplay.
Welcome to the unofficial Gallipoli guides hub. BlackMill Games’ fourth WW1 Game Series title (after Verdun, Tannenberg, and Isonzo) launches August 20, 2026 on Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S with full crossplay. Matches are hardcore 25v25 objective fights — fifty players, one-shot-one-kill lethality, ten historic classes, and more than fifty authentic weapons. This hub is the map for every how-to page on the wiki.
If you are brand new, start with Getting Started. It covers what to expect on day one, how classes fit together, and which systems matter before you charge Anzac Cove. Veterans of Isonzo will still want that page for Gallipoli-specific movement changes (crouch and prone sprint, bayonet charge) and the downed/revive flow.
Core systems to learn first
Gallipoli’s signature mode is Expedition Mode. Attackers push sectors and must keep momentum; defenders drain attacker tickets and stall the advance. You do not need every secondary point to progress a sector, but HQ captures decide the push — and side objectives often unlock forward spawns, machine-gun nests, or artillery advantages. Read that guide before you treat every flag like a Battlefield Breakthrough checklist.
Beach assaults are their own skill set. Beach Landings walks through Anzac Cove dawn landings, Cape Helles and the SS River Clyde, desert stretches, and Kut Al Amara street fighting in Mesopotamia. One-shot-one-kill plus open sand means suppression, smoke from squad tools, and disciplined timing matter more than raw aim streak.
Squad identity is stronger here than in earlier series games. Squad Call-Ins explains how squad types reshape class slots and Officer off-map support — artillery, airstrikes, and other call-ins that turn a coordinated five-player unit into the spine of a 25-player team. Pair that with the new ping system so PC and console players share the same callouts without voice.
Platform and input pages
Movement and bindings deserve their own deep dive. Controls covers PC and console layouts based on WW1 Game Series conventions and published Gallipoli previews: stance sprinting, bayonet charge, give-up-while-downed, Heavy Machine Gunner deployment, and practical sensitivity tips for bolt-action fights.
Because every platform shares lobbies, Crossplay is required reading before launch night. It covers Steam/Epic/Microsoft Store PC, PS5, and Xbox Series matchmaking expectations, party tips, bot fill behavior when lobbies are thin, and how to stay fair in a mixed-input server.
How to use this hub
- Read Getting Started once — bookmark the class shortlist that fits your role (Officer, Light Machine Gunner, Stretcher Bearer, Ammo Bearer, Bomber, Sniper, Heavy Machine Gunner, and the rest of the ten).
- Learn win conditions in Expedition Mode so you stop chasing empty kills while tickets burn.
- Practice beach discipline via Beach Landings before you spam bayonet charges into Maxim fire.
- Specialize with Squad Call-Ins so your Officer’s support actually lands on the push.
- Lock in binds from Controls and confirm platform settings in Crossplay.
What this wiki will not do
This is a fan resource. We do not invent patch numbers, fake balance charts, or unannounced maps. Price context from press (~$29.99 with a launch discount) and Steam app 3065940 are noted for players shopping storefronts; always verify live store pages for regional pricing and wishlist status. When official patch notes land after August 20, 2026, we will revise these guides instead of padding them with speculation.
Cross-link habit: every sibling guide below links back to the others. If you land on a beach tip page and need call-in timing, jump to squads; if a console friend joins your Steam party, jump to crossplay. Use the hub as a checklist before long Expedition sessions — especially when bots fill empty slots and you want human squads stacked with medics and ammo support.
Quick orientation for series veterans
Coming from Verdun’s trenches, Tannenberg’s plains, or Isonzo’s Alps? Expect the same grounded gunplay DNA — bolt actions, suppression that slows reloads, limited full-auto on deployed machine guns — but with Ottoman Front geography and expeditionary pacing. Momentum replaces pure trench stalemate. Crouch/prone sprint lets you stay low in shallow cover without crawling forever. Bayonet charge is a committed melee burst, not a free win button. Downed states and revives (any class can help; Stretcher Bearers excel) keep squads sticky if you protect the medic.
Use this hub whenever you feel lost mid-match: the answer is usually an objective rule, a landing route, a call-in window, or a bind you have not rebound yet — not another solo flank into open sand.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Where should a new Gallipoli player start?
Begin with Getting Started, then Expedition Mode so you understand tickets and sector HQ captures before specializing in beach landings or squad call-ins.
Is Gallipoli only about the Gallipoli Peninsula?
No. Beyond Anzac Cove and Cape Helles, the game also covers desert fighting and Mesopotamia locations such as Kut Al Amara.
Does this wiki cover every platform?
Yes. Guides assume full crossplay across Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store, PS5, and Xbox Series. See the Crossplay and Controls pages for setup details.
Are these official BlackMill guides?
No. This is an unofficial fan wiki. We align with published facts and previews and will update after launch patches.
